Give your idea/opini for the following point :

1.      What is the media in teaching? How many teaching media types do you know. Explain

Answer :

Media in teaching is a tool that would be to help teachers in teaching-learning. Usually, use to deliver teaching materials to students. Teaching media divided into 2 kinds. Online media and Offline media.

  • Audio is a type of learning media that use to deliver audio messages from the message source to the learners. In ELT, audio media use to improve the listening skill
  • Visual is the media teaching that uses the organs of sight. Deliver the materials learning with something like illustrations, photos, diagrams, flashcard posters. There is also motion visual media in the form of; projection images move or gif.
  • Audiovisual is a type of learning media that can show sound and images at the same time. Such as Tv movies, Tv, sound pictures, and sound films.
  • Multimedia is the media teaching tool that consists of a combination of several media in form of audio, video, photo images, and so on. 

2. Why teacher needs media in teaching?

In my opinion. Because media can help the teacher to deliver the material learning easily, and make effective.  With many various teaching techniques and the good facilities in media teaching, it would make the learning situations is not even boring and same. Besides that, the teacher needs media teaching as a tool for assessing the learning students.

3. What are the criteria of good teaching media.

  •  Simple
  • Easy on the application. 
  • Trending.
  • Features/adequate

4. Do you think that the teaching media needs to be developed? why

Of course yes. I think As advances in technology make media teaching more sophisticated as well.

But, many people are failed to understand the values and customs of foreign cultures.
